I am an artist living in rural ireland, specialising in Fine Art Printmaking. I explore landscape and place through a daily practice of walking the land, gathering found materials and photography. My interests lie in the connection between memory and place, the cycle of life and tuning in to nature. I am documenting an ever-changing landscape through photography, drawing, colour studies and printmaking techniques to create original handmade artworks
The process of fine art printmaking is a balance between planning, following particular steps whilst also letting go, allowing the process to transform the ordinary into something transcendent
